BEASTS OF LANBERA
This is about the Beasts that live in Lanbera
The Beasts that live in Lanbera went to live there many years ago. When Lanbera was created all the Mythical Beasts were invited to live there so they could get away from the persecution that people dealt out.
People have created stories around the Beasts. If people don't understand something they are likely to make up stories about them.
The Land Beyond the Rainbow tells you about what the Mythical Beasts are really like.
Maybe they aren't as scary as the stories have made them out to be.
Bob the Rabbit
Bob is not a Mythical Beast, she is a rabbit that lives our side of the Rainbow, She is invited to visit Lanbera by a Pixie that likes to wander about in our world sometimes.
Bob takes up the offer of visiting Lanbera to meet some of the Mythical Beasts that live there.
She was not the effect she would have on the lives of the Beasts that live in Lanbera.
Pixies
There is only one Pixie featured in the book, but he is instrumental in what happens in the whole book. If he hadn't of been bragging about where he lived Bob would not have known about Lanbera and therefore not wanted to visit.
Fairies
Yasmin the Fairy is very beautiful and very level headed, she usually keeps Colin the Unicorn company while he guards the Door in the Rainbow. Lucy does keep him company as well.
Fairies are magical but does not realise how magical she is and how much her magic will grow.
Unicorns
Unicorns are magical beasts but why wouldn't you see them when they are flying. Yes they can fly.
Colin looks after the Door in the Rainbow. He makes sure nobody that shouldn't go through, doesn't go through. Although he doesn't do a very good job of keeping Bob out.
Centaurs
The couple of Centaurs are very instrumental in helping the group travel around Lanbera. They are the Beasts that provide transport for anyone that wants to travel around. They are very fast so are the obvious Beasts to provide transport.
Ghouls
Ghouls are very misunderstood, they have received a lot of bad press because of what they look like and where they used to hang out, our side of the Rainbow and why they looked like they had blood around their mouths. That is why they had bad press this side of the Rainbow.
Bob finds out how wonderful where they live is.
Trolls
The Trolls live in the Vampires castle and are responsible for keeping they clean. The castles aren't very clean because the Trolls aren't very good at cleaning.
Find out why they had the reputation of living under bridges and why they had the reputation for being aggressive and why they didn't particularly like people.
Vampires
Francis is the Chairperson of the Mythical Beasts Council. He has a reputation for not being very pleasant, so Bob wanting him to answer questions about why the Mythical Beasts lived the way they did.
The interaction between Bob and Francis was what changed how the Mythical Beasts lived in Lanbera
Merpeople
Merpeople aren't evil but they are not very nice, they are conceited and only really think of themselves. They think they have been put on earth to be admired by everyone that saw them,
Ogres
Ogres aren't the prettiest of Beasts to look at but they are beautiful on the inside and that comes through when Bob and the group meet them and visit their home.
The Merpeople tolerate the Ogres because of how they entertain them during the day. The Merpeople are very rude to the Ogres.
